Utopia is one of five Dance/Electronic music satellite channels offered by Sirius XM Radio. The channel debuted online January 1, 2014.
Regular Programming[edit][]
Utopia is the first channel on Sirius XM that is dedicated to playing classic and retro dance, club, house, and remixes of various rhythmic pop hits from the late '80s, '90s and 2000s, with a light mix of currents. The channel's format serves as a bridge between Studio 54 Radio, which focuses on classic disco and early to mid-80s dance, and BPM, whose direction is focused on current dance hits.
From online to onair[edit][]
On July 10th, 2014, Sirius XM announced Utopia would join the Sirius XM lineup on channel 55 effective July 17, 2014. Dish Network does not currently air Utopia on channel 6055, with no reason given.
